Advice for Worship Leaders #8 - Divine order

Divine order
In the last two years of my life the prayer for “Divine order” has become one of my most prayed prayers. I pray this prayer literally every single day. I have found that asking the Lord to come and perfectly align and order my life is one of the wisest things that I can do.
If you’re a worship leader, pastor, or in ministry I encourage you to begin praying this prayer and I promise you will be so happy that you did. When I began praying for divine order on my worship team I began to see such a shift take place not only on my team, but in my heart. As I began to profess, “Lord, I will build my team with whoever You bring to me, and whoever You take away from me I will consider it Your divine will. It helped me so much to get rid of the spirit of entitlement or being upset when people would go to a different worship team, etc. This same prayer can be applied if you’re a business person or whatever your profession may be.
I pray this prayer over every area of your life. Lord, divinely order my friendships, bring those friends that will sharpen me like iron, and take friends out of my path that may not be best for me. Lord divinely order my finances, show me where to give my money, when to sow and when to store.
Lord, Your plan for my life is perfect and I want to get out of the way and allow You to lead me. Let Your will be my will.

I love this principle, thanks
I love this principle, thanks for sharing it. I've heard it before but needed a reminder to pray this regularly for my life!
Thanks!
Thank you for sharing this. It was the Word of the Lord for me today. I am a worship leader in my church and our team has experienced many changes recently. This post was a fresh reminder to me to let the Lord guide in all things even our comings and goings.
