Zach grew up in Willmar, Minnesota, where he lived until 2006 when he moved to IHOP. He wants to be able to write and play music that shifts hearts, is a sweet smelling fragrance, moves the heavens, and in general...sounds good.
In a world where musical excellence is greatly viewed as something technological, at least in the main stream music world, I believe that it’s important to keep a personal musical excellence before yourself and before God. God’s given each musician a talent, talents that were designed to be cultivated, refined and used. If I were to slack on my views of pursuing this excellence, I’d be doing myself, the Lord and my worship team a disservice.
